The Approach
Through interactive games, art and creative storytelling, our curriculum ensures a joyful learning experience that encourages language development and builds confidence in your child’s speaking, writing, reading and listening.

Classes will include lots of repetition, especially through songs and books. Your children will naturally absorb these words and may even start using them at home. Don’t be surprised if you also find yourself singing these songs throughout your day!
The weekly curriculum is structured around themes and subjects. By the end of 20 weeks, your child will be familiar with common greetings, colors, numbers, animals, foods and objects around the house and be able to intermix these themes with confidence in their language skills!
Classes are taught by Sharon Samowitz, a New York native who made aliyah. She has worked in education for an extensive period of her career and in psychotherapy. Sharon’s approach to teaching English is to foster a warm and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. In her experience, children perform best when there is less pressure and lots of fun!
Native English Speakers
These classes are suited to children who speak English at home

Children aged 5-6 years
Children will have a good grasp of English and can construct a string of sentences when speaking.
Children aged 7-9 years
At this stage, children will be able to speak, read, write and listen with fluency. A sprinkle of advanced descriptive language will form part of their vocabulary. By now, their writing skills should have developed into putting ideas on paper and they should be able to read and speak aloud confidently.
Non-Native English Speakers
These classes are suited to children who speak Hebrew or another language other than English at home

Children aged 5-6 years
At this level, children will be learning English for the first time. They may have a grasp of basic words but will need teaching and guidance to explore and learn the weekly topics.

Children aged 7-9 years
At this level, children will have a basic English vocabulary. They may be able to speak basic greetings and understand colors, but their writing and reading will need a boost. Through weekly teaching, the children will develop these skills tremendously.
